What is a tensioning clamp and its advantages

Tensioning clamp is used to fix the wire, to withstand the wire tension, and to hang the wire to the tensioning string or pole.
According to the different structure and installation conditions, the tension clamp can be roughly divided into two categories.
The first type: the tensioning clip should bear all the tension of the wire or lightning arrester, and the grip force of the wire clip is not less than 90 of the rated tensile force of the wire or lightning arrester to be installed, but it is not used as a conductor. This kind of wire clamp can also be removed after the wire installation and used for another purpose. This type of wire clamp has bolt type tension clamp and wedge type tension clamp, etc.
The second category: In addition to withstand the full tension of the wire or lightning rod, but also as a conductor. Therefore, once this type of wire clamp is installed, it can not be removed again, also known as dead wire clamp. Because it is a conductor, the installation of the wire clamp must be carefully carried out in accordance with the provisions of the installation operation procedures.
