Classification of Dead End Clamp

Tension Clamp NLL
NLL series aluminium alloy strain clamp is suitable for aerial line up to 20kv,fixing aluminium wire of steel core aluminium wire on the strain pole,aerial insulation aluminium conductor and insulation aluminium cover are being used together. It’s cation is insulation protection.
Tension Clamp NLD
Tension clamp is mainly used for overhead power line or substation fixed wire and lightning rod, and through the connection of gold and tensioning insulator string connection, mother of mother function, also used to fix the cable tower cable.


NXJ Series Insulated Tension Clamp(wedge Type)
NXJ series is suitable for strain clamp insulation string of 20kv aerial insulation aluminium core wire JKLYJ terminal or two ends fixing and tighten aerial insulation.
NXL Series Aluminium Alloy Strain Clamp(wedge Type)
NXL series strain pliers are suitable for distribution wires below 20kV. First, fix the overhead insulated aluminum conductor or bare aluminum conductor on the Angle of the terminal strain bar or insulator, and then tighten the overhead conductor.

Dead End Clamp: Tensile test
To perform the tensile test, the clamp should be held in the tensile testing machine. The arrangement should be as close to the actual working condition of the clamp as possible. A rigid bar should be placed in the place of cable.
The one-half of the minimum failing load should be applied at the 90° of the conductor axis. And it should be increased at a steady rate. And the failure should not occur at the load less than the specified minimum failing load.
Installation Requirements of Dead End Clamp
Pull out the wedges from the dead end clamp / anchor clamp to make space for messenger line insert.
After previous step, place appropriate messenger line into the dead end clamp's space of the wedges.
Press the both wedges into the dead end clamp along with messenger line. Direction shown on the right picture. Manufacturer advises to easily knock with small hammer both wedges to achieve better fixation.
Place the installed tension clamp on hook, bracket or other similar hanging segment on the wall, pole, etc.
