Power fittings are necessary for power cable connection

Power fittings are metal parts used to connect the poles, wires, lightning arresters and insulators of power transmission lines, or to protect wires, lightning arresters, insulators, etc.
Basic requirements: Power fittings are generally made of cast steel and malleable cast iron. It is required that the line hardware should have sufficient mechanical strength, and the part of the hardware connecting the conductive body should have good electrical performance. In the manufacturing process of the line hardware, there should be no burrs, cracks and deformation, the surface should be smooth, and the galvanized layer should be uniform. The supporting hardware should be suitable for specifications, no lack of parts, no rust, screw, nut should be well matched, the contact surface of the wire clamp hull plate and the wire should be smooth, and the manufacturing quality and size should meet the national standards and specifications.
The connection of power cable conductor is an important part of making and installing various types of cable heads, which is very important for the long-term safe operation of the line.
Power cable conductor connection methods include crimping method and welding method. The requirements of the conductor connection are that the temperature rise of the cable conductor does not exceed the temperature rise value during the transmission of current, and can withstand the allowable tension of the cable conductor.
Crimping method, the method of using appropriate mechanical pressure to obtain an electrical conduction contact interface between conductors or between conductors and electrical connection fittings. According to whether the conductor can be disassembled after connection, it can be divided into two kinds of clamping (removable) connection and compression (non-removable or dead connection) connection.
Welding method, only used for small section cable core connection.
Aluminum core crimping, copper core welding or crimping.
