1. Zinc oxide arrester flow capacity is large:
This is mainly reflected in the ability of the arrester to absorb various lightning overvoltages, power frequency transient overvoltages and operating overvoltages. The flow capacity of zinc oxide arrester produced by Chuantai fully meets or even exceeds the requirements of national standards. 2. Zinc oxide arrester protection characteristics are excellent:
Zinc oxide arrester is used to protect all kinds of electrical equipment in power system from overvoltage damage electrical products, with good protection performance. Because the nonlinear voltammetry characteristics of the zinc oxide valve plate are very good, only a few hundred microamps of current pass through the normal operating voltage, which is easy to design into a gap-free structure, so that it has good protection performance, light weight and small size. When the overvoltage is penetrated, the current flowing through the valve plate increases rapidly, while limiting the amplitude of the overvoltage, releasing the energy of the overvoltage, and then the zinc oxide valve plate returns to the high resistance state, so that the power system can work normally.
3. Zinc oxide arrester sealing performance is good:
The arrester components are made of high-quality composite coats with good aging performance and good air tightness, and measures such as controlling the compression of the sealing ring and adding sealant are adopted. The ceramic coats are used as sealing materials to ensure reliable sealing and stable performance of the arrester.
4. The mechanical properties of zinc oxide arrester mainly consider the following three factors:

6. High operational reliability of zinc oxide arrester:
The reliability of long-term operation depends on the quality of the product and whether the selection of the product is reasonable. Its product quality is mainly affected by the following three aspects:
A the rationality of the overall structure of the arrester;
B Zinc oxide valve plate voltammetry characteristics and aging resistance characteristics
C Sealing performance of lightning arrester.
7. Power frequency tolerance:
Due to various reasons in power system such as single-phase grounding, long-line capacitance effect and load rejection, the power frequency voltage will increase or the transient overvoltage with high amplitude will be generated, and the arrester has the ability to withstand a certain power frequency voltage increase in a certain time.

The arrester presents a high resistance state under normal system operating voltage, and only microampere-level current passes through. Under the action of overvoltage and high current, it presents low resistance, thus limiting the residual voltage at both ends of the arrester.
