The Function And Characteristics Of JPU Fusible Cores

JPU fuses are components used in low-voltage fuses. They are typically made of a variable cross-section fuse made of silver-plated pure copper or pure silver, which is encapsulated in a high-strength and high-temperature resistant ceramic tube. The tube is filled with chemically treated high-purity quartz sand as the arc-extinguishing medium.
The main features of JPU fusible cores are their high breaking capacity and durability. They are suitable for overload and short-circuit protection of electrical circuits with an AC frequency of 50HZ, and can also be used for short-circuit protection of semiconductor equipment and their complete sets of devices as well as motor short-circuit protection. Its rated voltage is 1000V, and there are various specifications for the rated current and rated breaking current.
